Neetu Chandra was born on June 20, 1979, in Patna, Bihar, a city in India.This hot girl of present graduated from the Notre Dame Academy, Patna in 1997 had already dreamt of entering into the glamorous modeling world. Being not supported by her father, Neetu was supported by her mother, Neera. She stood by her and helped her in entering this glamorous world and showbiz. She has also done dozens of ads and videos for reputed firms since her graduation days in Delhi's IP College, University of Delhi.

Neetu was also supposed to be an avid sportsperson before she entered the film industry. She is a black belt holder in Taekwondo. She has represented India in International Taekwondo Championship at Hong Kong in 1996 and represented India in World Korfball Championship in 1995 at New Delhi. She is also a national games Silver Medal winner in Taek-won-do. After completing her basic education, she started her work with small print ad campaigns in Delhi. But her hard work and persevarance took her to the Hindi film Industry.

She achieved wider fame, when she posed intimately with another female model for the cover of 'The Man' magazine, a leading men's lifestyle magazine in India.
The shoot was objected by bystanders at Juhu beach in Mumbai where it was progressing, some of whom were said to belong to the right wing MNS, who raised slogans and said the shoot was 'promoting lesbianism' and 'against Indian culture'.
She then was also called to be lesbian and many scandals published. But no matter they are famous, popular and stars, and their life is full of Gossips and scandals.

She did her debut in the film in 2005 in Garam Masala in which she portrayed Sweety, an air hostess. Then in 2007 she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's film, Traffic Signal. To prepare herself for the role in traffic signal, she spent her week living on the streets of Mumbai by traffic light, so that to match upon her character. This showed her faithfulness towards her work. Neetu Chandra danced gracefully in a video album Rasiya Saajan for music director Ismail Darbar along with Zubeen Garg. The video was directed by noted video director S Ramachandran.

Her Tamil film, Yavarum Nalam with Madhavan was declared a major hit.

Neetu Chandra is the Life Member of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television.

Neetu was on the cover of Maxim India on the January 2009 issue of the magazine.

In a recent interview with Delhi Times, she was quoted as saying "I'm ready to go nude for a James Cameron movie"

Neetu Chandra has also been signed as the brand ambassador for the Hoop, a Gitanjali brand and finished up a commercial for Mysore Sandal Soap.

Neetu Chandra, no desires of getting Zero size

Bollywood star Neetu Chandra says that she has no desires for getting size zero and only believes in toning her body according to the need of the film she is working in.

"I don't believe in a zero-size figure. But I believe that the body should be toned in the right way" Neetu told reporters, replying to repeated queries on whether she has put on weight. "On the contrary, I have shed some weight, " she added.

"I first try to understand the little nuances of my character. Then I dress up accordingly, " she said, describing herself as a casual dresser. Neetu also said that "I really like the look of the outfit I am wearing. Though I am a very casual of kind of person I carry myself according to the place I am going to, " Neetu said.

Neetu has half a dozen films lined up for release this year and is presently shooting for a seventh in South Africa, for Anees Bazmee opposite Sanjay Dutt.
